Privacy Policy
How Wipe Me Down Dance AI handles your account, the photo you upload to the AI provider, your renders, and the payment data held by Stripe and Yito Pay.

Who we are
Wipe Me Down Dance AI (wipemedowndanceai.video) is an independent, self-serve AI video tool. It renders short dance videos from a photo or a text description that you provide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Foxx, Lil Boosie, Webbie, Trill Entertainment or any other rights holder in the 2007 record "Wipe Me Down".
For any privacy question or request: support@wipemedowndanceai.video.
What this policy covers
It covers everything the site does with personal data: the account you create, the media you submit, the clips you generate, the payment that buys credits, and the analytics that keep the service running. It applies to all eleven language versions of the site; the same data flows sit behind every locale.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, your email address, a hashed password if you sign up with email, or the account identifier that Google returns if you sign in with Google instead. Session cookies keep you signed in.
- The media and text you submit — the photo you upload (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB) in Photo to video mode, the description you type in Text to video mode (up to 2,000 characters), and every setting you choose for a render: look, resolution, length and frame.
- Your renders and credit history — our records of the renders made on your account (task id, prompt, settings, result link and job status), and the credit transactions that paid for them (claimed check-ins, Google grants, subscription credits, pack credits, refunds for failed renders).
- Payment records — the plan or pack bought, the amount, the currency, the order identifier and the payment status, plus the identifier our processor uses to recognise you. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are entered on the payment processor's own form and never reach our servers.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, features used, referring page, and error logs.
What happens to the photo you upload
This is the part people ask about most, so here it is without hedging:
- In Photo to video mode your browser shrinks the photo and sends it over HTTPS, as a base64 data URL, to our own API route (
POST /api/video/generate) together with your prompt and settings. Our servers do not copy the photo into any storage we operate. - The image bytes are forwarded to kie.ai, the model provider that runs the video model (ByteDance's Seedance 2.0). kie.ai's file-upload API hosts the file and returns a short-lived public HTTPS URL — kie.ai documents this as about 24 hours — and that URL is the reference image the render reads.
- Because that URL is public while it lives, the photo is hosted by the provider for a limited window and could be reached by anyone who holds the link during that time. We keep no copy of the photo ourselves.
- Your prompt — up to 2,000 characters — is sent to seeapi for moderation and to kie.ai for the render. Before every render the prompt and the photo are screened by seeapi; a blocked input is refused and the credits are not spent.
- It is not published to a feed we run, not shown to other users of the studio, and not used to train our own models.
- Rendering is a one-off request. We do not build a face database, we do not attach your photo to any other account, and we do not sell or rent your media to anyone for advertising.
- The finished MP4 lives on the provider's CDN and is returned to your browser as a URL. What we store is a record of the render — its task id, prompt, settings, credits charged, status and result link. Deleting a render deletes that record; it does not delete the provider's copy of the photo, which expires on its own.
The provider processes the input as a data processor acting on our instructions, under its own terms and retention rules. If a render fails, the input may still have been transmitted; that attempt simply produces no output.
Why we use it
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To run the render you asked for and keep a record of the result for you.
- To grant credits, bill subscriptions and one-time packs, and refund credits when a render fails.
- To answer support requests and investigate abuse.
- To understand which pages and features are used, so the site can be improved.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to prevent fraud and credit abuse.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies are required for sign-in, session security and remembering your cookie choice. Non-essential cookies — product analytics and any marketing measurement — are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change that choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.
Our analytics record aggregated events such as page views, sign-ups, renders started and paywall hits. They do not contain your photo, your prompt or your email address.
Who we share data with
Only the processors that make the service work:
- kie.ai — runs the video model and hosts the photo you upload; it receives your photo and prompt for the render.
- seeapi — screens your prompt and your photo for prohibited content before every render.
- Stripe and Yito Pay — process payments and hold your card details under their own terms.
- Cloudflare — hosts the application and the database.
- Plausible (self-hosted) — product analytics from aggregated events; it never receives your photo, prompt or email address.
- Our email sender — delivers verification, password-reset and receipt messages.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention | | ------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Account data | Until you close the account | | Uploaded photos | Held by the model provider (kie.ai) for a short window, about 24 hours, and not retained by us | | Render records and result links | Kept until you delete the render or close your account | | Credit and payment ledger | Kept after closure where tax or accounting law requires it | | Analytics events | Aggregated, retained for service analysis | | Support tickets | Kept while the ticket is open and for a short period afterwards |
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Most of it is available in your account settings: renders can be deleted individually, and closing the account removes our records — the account, the render records and the credit ledger. For anything else, including an export or a request to restrict processing, write to support@wipemedowndanceai.video and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to certain processing or to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country. Do not upload photos of children without the consent of a parent or guardian.
International transfers
Our infrastructure and processors may store and process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses offered by those processors.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS, passwords are stored hashed, and access to production systems is restricted and logged. We do not operate media storage: photos are held only by the model provider for a short window and finished videos are delivered from the provider's CDN, so we hold no media files of our own. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store card details ourselves, which removes the most valuable target.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the service or by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
